The Schuberth® RiderEcall consists of a motorcycle unit and helmet unit, contains 5 sensors and makes use of state-of-the-art communication and telematic technologies. Not just for Schuberth® customers: it can be employed by users of all helmet brands.

• Your invisible companion

The Schuberth® RiderEcall is the first GSM-/GPS-based, automatic emergency call and positioning system for motorcycle riders. Your invisible companion who will call for help when an accident occurs when nobody else can.

• Trust in your personal invisible companion

The Schuberth® RiderEcall detects an accident automatically and sends an emergency text message containing the GPS coordinates of your location to the Assist Team which is on call round the clock.

• The motorcycle unit incorporates an inclination sensor which triggers an alarm as soon as the angle of inclination specified for the motorcycle is fallen below, which indicates a fall.
• A second sensor, the acceleration sensor, issues an alarm as soon as untypical acceleration, in particular negative acceleration, is measured.
• If the connection between the helmet and motorcycle unit fails, as is the case when the rider is separated from the motorcycle in the event of an accident, a third sensor triggers an alarm.
• A fourth sensor continuously checks the power supply from the motorcycle battery. An alarm is also triggered when this is interrupted. An integrated battery guarantees the power supply.
• The fifth sensor, another acceleration sensor, is integrated into the helmet unit and triggers an alarm as soon as the helmet strikes an object or is subjected to shock.

The motorcycle unit also incorporates an integrated GPS receiver, an integrated mobile phone card and an integrated microphone and loudspeaker with a range of approx. three metres.

Naturally the motorcycle rider can also send an emergency text message manually, thus establishing the connection to the Assist Team.
For example to report the accident to other road users.

The Schuberth RiderEcall System includes a 24-month safety subscription from the day it is activated.
